Mudamarah is a witch.
I wish I were a dangerous woman. In this performance, I am. I’m seduced by her cruel beauty, or her beautiful cruelty. Maybe you are too.
Her aesthetic is strongly inspired by the Balinese, mythological character of Rangda. Maybe too much. (Check out these resources if you are interested in learning more about Rangda, and the cultural practices she originates from.)
